When I first joined Monkey Puzzle as a lunchtime assistant I had no qualifications or experience, just lots of passion and enthusiasm. The management team supported me and encouraged me and I increased my hours to become a nursery assistant undertaking my level 3 in Early Years. With the support of all the other staff, my confidence grew and upon qualifying I became a room leader and with leadership training I was appointed 3rd in charge in July 2022. Childcare is hard work but as my knowledge and understanding of children has grown, so have the rewards and there really is no other job as huggable and loveable as this one.
In my time out of work you will find me in the fields riding my horses, spending time with my family or enjoying a secret bar of chocolate!
